Gathering all five hidden Cat Shine Shards across these icy towers rewards players with an extra Cat Shine to help clear the region. Mastering the mechanics of the Propeller Box is essential for reaching every hidden corner of this freezing fortress.
First Tower and Lower Alcove Locations
The initial Cat Shine Shard sits at the very top of the smaller starting tower. Players simply need to grab a Propeller Box from the nearby blocks and spin upward from the center platform to grab it.
The second shard is hidden around the base of the massive secondary tower. Ride the rotating wooden cross platforms around to the rear side of the tower to discover a small vertical alcove containing the shard.
Middle Tower Secret Rooms and Midair Drops
As you ascend the main tower structure, watch for a wooden signpost pointing toward the right-hand path. Move onto the platform on the left instead and use the Propeller Box to blast through a secret hole in the ceiling where the third shard is kept.
Further up the tower, you will spot the fourth Cat Shine Shard floating in open air beneath a pair of rotating cross platforms. Freefall off the ledge to collect the shard mid-flight, then immediately activate your propeller boost to return safely to higher ground.
The Final Windmill Shard and Movement Tips
The fifth and final shard resides in the center hub of the giant spinning windmill near the summit. Carefully line up your descent using the Propeller Box to drop directly into the central recess and claim the piece.
Maintaining full control over your air movement prevents frustrating falls back down to the frozen waters below. Practicing patient jump timing on rotating platforms makes collecting all five shards a smooth process.
